Q: We drive on the right hand side and in Thailand they drive on the left hand side, will this be difficult for me to get use to?

A: Most people adjust quite quickly to this. Nevertheless we suggest that you rent an automatic vehicle. Riding on the different side of the road and coping with controls on the "wrong" side might be too much to handle in the time you are here.

Q: There seems to be no traffic rules in Thailand, is it dangerous to drive yourself?

A: True, Thai traffic is chaotic. But everybody knows this and everybody is quite forgiving to the mistakes you might make. That said, do not drive fast. You are on a holiday and want to enjoy the scenery and not be the cause of an accident! Drive slowly and enjoy and watch out for all that may cross your path.

Q: Do I need to wear seatbelts while driving in Thailand?

A: Yes, and even if you didn't, you would have to!

Q: Do I need to wear a helmet while riding in Thailand.

A: Yes, for those of you who are stupid enough not to do this: hospitals and police stations are programmed in the Garmin so you can find both.

Q: What happens when my vehicle breaks down? I do not speak Thai.

A: All the vehicles that are rented with our GPS's have a breakdown insurrance. Since you will have our GPS, you can give us the coordinates and help will be on the way.

Q: I have never used a GPS before, is it difficult to operate?

A: If you can use a romote control for your TV you can use our GPS's. It is very simple and they come with a booklet explaining how to use them.

Q: Can you also help us with hotel reservations?

A: No, sorry. There are many websites that do an excellent job providing this service. We do recommend hotels but it is up to you to arrange it.
